1 Backup / Restore
1.1 Why am I not able to restore from SMB after resetting Europa?
- After Europa being reset, Europa will no longer have the DNS server information and will not know how to go to the SMB server.
2 Mail Archive
2.1 Why am I not able to enable Mail Archive?
- You need to enable Personal Filter in System Setup in order to use this Mail Archive function
2.2 How is Group B/W List different from Subgroup B/W Report?
- Group B/W List allows the administrator to edit the black and white lists for all the groups; whereas Subgroup B/W Report displays all the emails and domains that are being blacklisted by groups or by users.
3 Back end email server
3.1 In Email Report, I saw the emails are Pass/White/Tag, how do I know these emails are sent to the backend email server?
- In the normal case, these emails should delivery to the backend email server immediately.
- To display the sending event, go to Operation Report:
- Select Operation Historical Report, date and time range
- Enter your email server IP address into Adv. Search.
- Looking for the line: "Sent email to recipient [xxx@yyy] to host: zzzz"
3.2 How do I know the back end email server is down?
There are so many different methods:
- Tools > Reachability Test > Check Reachability, looking for the Email Server result.
- System > Domain Setup, Fail-over Configuration and "Send Notification to Alternate Admin Address when Email Server is down".
- Operation Status or Operation Report, looking for the "Sent email to recipient ... to host: ..." line.
4 Support
4.1 Can Europa generates text support (SMS) messages to my mobile phone?
- Today, most mobile phone support text message; and most mobile service providers give you an email address for your mobile phone.
- Of course, you need to buy that text message service from your wireless service provider.
- From Europa, you can enter your mobile phone number into as one of the administrator email ID as follows,
